Join chef Dagmar Smith and wine expert Mark Leighton for a romantic evening of fine wine and cooking. Rather than going out to an impersonal restaurant on Valentine's Day, come to the CCAE Brattle Street kitchen for a fun, low-key cooking class.
We'll work together to create a sumptuous but easy-to-prepare meal from appetizers through dessert. There will be sweet and savory brie tortes, butternut squash soup, herbed couscous, and, as an entree, a choice of herbed chicken or salmon to wrap and bake in a parchment packet. For dessert we'll have chocolate-covered strawberries.
Mark will bring wines from Europe and Americas. There will be a gorgeous American
pinot noir, some french sauvignon blanc, and bubbly Italian moscato d' Asti to finish. Bring your sweetheart for an evening of fun and a great Valentine Day's dinner.
