Winter is definitely the time for warm, comforting soups.
In this hands-on class we will make a variety of winter warmers, including curried butternut soup, three-lily onion soup, French lentil soup, creamy parsnip and carrot soup with fresh thyme, and wild rice soup with chicken and fresh herbs and vegetables.
All of the recipes will be easy, straightforward, and possible for a beginner to repeat at home.
The class will also make some fresh corn bread, and there will be red and white wine to accompany the soup. Come hungry!
